We were at Layla’s Grandparents’ house for Christmas Eve this year. Along with the traditional Seafood Feast we enjoy there every year we also decorated the tree: My first Tinsel Experience!! Every year the local fire department sends out a truck with Santa Claus. It was absolutely FREEZING outside, but these good people trudged along to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday. Of course we had to take Layla’s picture with Santa – can you see how frosted over his glasses were??? These are DEDICATED people! It was so much fun to say hi to the Jolly Fellow….Layla, however, did not care for the very loud sirens that came with the meeting.
