Many of us were taught β implicitly or explicitly β not to listen to your body.
We learned to override hunger, fatigue, emotions, and intuition in order to perform, please, or survive. Over time, this disconnection can make it difficult to know what we feel, what we need, or whatβs actually true for us.
The guidepost “Tune In” invites us to gently and safely rebuild the ability to listen to your body with curiosity, care, and trust.
Your body is not a problem to solve.
It is a communication system.
Sensations like tightness, heaviness, warmth, or restlessness are messages from your nervous system. Emotions, too, are signals β not flaws β offering insight into boundaries, safety, and unmet needs.
When we tune in, we gain access to this information. When we tune out, the body often speaks louder.
Disconnection from the body is not a failure.
For many people, tuning out was a necessary adaptation:

These strategies are intelligent. But they can become limiting when they persist beyond the conditions that required them.
Tuning in is not about intense introspection or emotional flooding.
Itβs about small moments of noticing:

These moments signal safety to the nervous system and help rebuild self-trust over time.
This guidepost often shows up quietly:
Just like worth and connection, inner listening unfolds on a spiral.
Some days, we hear ourselves clearly.
Other days, everything feels noisy or muted.
Returning again and again β without judgment β is the practice.
Each return strengthens the pathway between awareness and care.
Choose one. Let it be enough.

Tune In is not about becoming perfectly self-aware.
Itβs about learning to listen with kindness β and responding with care.
Over time, this practice builds a relationship with yourself that feels safer, steadier, and more honest.
