On one of the whitest, snowiest days the Philly has ever seen, we ventured out into the “city.” Yes, we took our stroller – flipped the handle bar around so that the “big wheels” were in front – and trudged through the December snow to see the Christmas spectacles. Layla loved the cold: wearing her “hat” and “gloves” and taking the “choo choo train” (subway train) into the “city.” We watched the traditional light show at Macys. We walked through Dicken’s Village. We watched the fabulous 3-D Comcast LCD wall. Layla loved wearing the 3-D glasses and listening to the sounds of the season. It was an immersive Christmas experience. It was a beautiful day as a family and we were all humming carols on our way home.
